Our History

Cabinets etc. has been doing business in the Bay Area since 1962. Originally a lumber business, we branched out into the custom cabinetry industry in the 1970s. We've been serving the East Bay from our current Castro Valley location since 1986. Today, Cabinets etc. offers everything from kitchen design to custom countertops, sinks, faucets, etc. We carry only quality brands such as Diamond Cabinets, Fieldstone Cabinetry, Huggy Bear’s Cupboards and Decora Cabinets. Bathrooms, kitchens, home offices, entertainment rooms and garages are some of the many living spaces that custom products from Cabinets etc. can enhance.

All Cabinets etc. products are custom designed to meet the homeowner's unique vision and lifestyle. Our designers work closely to meet each client’s preferences and budget, and use computer-generated drawings to show exactly what the finished product will look like. There are never any high pressure sales tactics. We invite you to let us make your visions a reality and design a kitchen, bath, or other room that you will love to live in!

Our goal is to take the customer's vision and make it a reality. We listen closely to what the customer wants, and offer the best alternatives available to meet their budget and to give them the look and features they want. We'll never push anyone to buy or try to sell them more than they need.
